Dr. Comes is Deputy Director of the Centre for Integrated Emergency Management, University of Agder, Norway, Co-Director of the Disaster Resilience Lab, a joint initiative of UiA and Tilburg University and Associate Professor, Department for ICT, University of Agder (UiA), Norway. During her appointment, she will work on a paper on methodologies for Reachback support in sudden and slow onset disasters as well as author a peer reviewed publication on the coordination of the West African Ebola outbreak. As a visiting scientist, Dr. Comes hopes to expand the teams expertise in design, analysis and evaluation of information and decision support systems for disaster management.
