Research and Evaluation Coordinator, DEPP External Evaluation
Rebecca Hémono, MPH, serves as the Research and Evaluation Coordinator for the External Evaluation of the Disasters and Emergencies Preparedness Programme (DEPP) at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. In this role, she contributes extensively to data collection and analysis across 10 countries through training and managing field research teams, conducting qualitative interviews with program stakeholders and tracking and reporting results. Before joining HHI, Rebecca conducted research on gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual and reproductive health needs among refugee populations in Greece and Turkey, and completed an intensive training on managing GBV programmes in humanitarian emergencies and crisis. She recently completed her graduate studies where she concentrated in humanitarian health and health policy in low-income countries, with a specific focus on maternal and child health and family planning.
